Gweru Diocese organises pilgrimage to Israel for its clergy and faithful

A group comprising Catholic Priests, Nuns, teachers and one Brother pose for a picture at Robert Mugabe International Airport before they departed to Israel for a pilgrimage. The Apostolic Administrator for Gweru Diocese in the middle accompanied the pilgrims.

A group of Catholic priests, nuns, one brother and some faithful including teachers from Gweru Diocese is on a pilgrimage to Israel where they have gone to renew their spiritual life by visiting sacred places associated with the Lord Jesus Christ. The group which was accompanied by the Apostolic Administrator for Gweru Diocese, Bishop Michael Dixon Bhasera comprised of church personnel drawn from different mission stations. Among those who went for the special pilgrimage were Gweru Diocese Vicar General, Fr. Augustine Chirikadzi, Fr. Alphonse Mapfumo, Fr. Joaquim Ngun’u, Fr. Joaquim Chukucha, Fr. Fradreck Nhakuza, Fr. Simayedwa, Fr. Hendrix Mutodzaniso, Sr. Donata Madhandani, Sr. Chpo Mangwende and Br. Martin Mafa. The Headmaster for Serima High School, Mr. Progress Matongo, Sr. Tarcisia Gundani, Sr. Agness Mutanhaurwa, Sr. Alice Chomuyeke, Sr. Agness Zulu, Sr. Plaxedes Nyamande, Sr. Rosa Moyo also joined the pilgrimage. The group left Robert Mugabe International Airport today, 01 October 2018.
