ZCBC Staff joins Papal Nuncio in celebrating Pope Francis’ Anniversary

The Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops’ Conference (ZCBC) Secretariat was invited by the Papal Nuncio to Zimbabwe, Archbishop Paolo Rudelli to celebrate Pope Francis’ 9th anniversary as the universal leader of the Catholic Church on 17 March 2022. Led by the Bishop of Chinhoyi Diocese, Rt. Rev Raymond Mupandasekwa, ZCBC Secretary General Fr. Fradereck Chiromba, ZCBC staff prayed for the strengthening of the Pope in his leadership of the Church especially this time when there is growing political turmoil and instability in the world. Pope Francis was elected as the pontiff on 13 March 2013 to become the 266th pope of the Roman Catholic Church.
