The distribution to 25 Catholic hospitals is being facilitated by the Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops’ Conference’s Health Commission.

Representatives of different Catholic hospitals were seen collecting gloves, sanitisers and disinfectants that will help in protecting mission health workers from coronavirus and disinfect hospitals and premises.

Those who collected medical supplies on behalf of the 25 hospitals appreciated the gesture by the Pope saying, “he has people at heart and is a shepherd who knows his sheep.”
