Distribution of medical supplies donated by Pope Francis through the Nunciature in Harare has been underway with hospitals collecting shares allocated to them. The distribution was according to bed capacity which determines the hospital size. The distribution to 25 Catholic hospitals is being facilitated by the Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops’ Conference’s Health Commission.
Representatives of different Catholic hospitals were seen collecting gloves, sanitisers and disinfectants that will help in protecting mission health workers from coronavirus and disinfect hospitals and premises.
